I love this tutorial! I'm planning on doing a Konata wig (Lucky Star) with a high poofy ponytail so this is exactly what I was looking for. =D Thank you so much for making this. ^^

Thank you for creating this! I have two characters that need a poofy, long ponytail. This is going to help a lot!

Not sure how you'd attach the foamcore non-permanently, since a large claw clip (like the ones they use on 'poofy' ponyfalls) couldn't be operated if it were mounted inside the (non-flexible) foamcore. However, you could try making the foamcore a tight fit (so that it doesn't slide off the stub easily) and pinning it to the wig for added security?!

Buy / make a clip-on?

How difficult do you think it would be to make your tutorial into a clip on? I need the thickness just like you demonstrated, and I’m afraid that a simple clip on or string fall as seen on Crosworx’s site wouldn’t be full enough.

is there a way to make the ponytail detachable? there are two characters i want to do that have the same hair color, but diffrent lengths.

That is very, very clever. Don't need it right now, but it's a great idea!
