You know, with the 24 - 70 L 2.8out, the 28 - 70 L 2.8 dropped in price at a lot of places and that would cover a lot of your wide angle and in between photos and would cost just about as much as a 17 - 40. I know the 1.5 multiplication can be a bit much, but the 28 - 70 would mean that with your lense you had every angle covered from 28 mm - 200mm.
That and I mean, I would take either.
yukito-thanks for the praise.
If we are ever at the same convention....we will have to have a conversation about cameras. I just picked up my 70-200f4L in OCtober. I am eagerly awaiting getting my 17-40L someday.
nya... lovely hair setting~ so nice... and clear.. I bet ya're very happy that this picture took a clear shoot of your hair too~ cos it's very nice~ X3
Your photography is coming along amazingly. You bought an amazing lense. For less then $600, the 70 - 200 F4 is L glass and provides spectactular quality and range on a Rebel with the 1.5 multiplication factor. that 105 - 300 can even be used for not - so - distant wildlife photography.
I am looking forward to seeing more of your work, if we are ever at the same convention, let's talk cameras because I could use some advice. Take care, Matt.
