This picture was taken today shortly before starting to sew all parts together.

So the on brown paper part which I used as a base, I applied (now excuse my english) that fluffy kid of fabric which is used to fill winter jackets. This was done to make the hat look more like a real hat not like a paper toy.

On the top of that I applied red fabric and shaped with with pins.

Now... keep your fingers crossed we're gonna be sewing all parts together.
