Crossing the line - Silent Hill - Lisa Garland

I re-wore my Lisa costume for the first time since Otakon 2009 at Polaris in July and Stillvisions was kind enough to offer to do a shoot with me (and some wonderful Batman Cosplayers :3) in the parking garage of the building. I remember driving through the garage last year and thinking what a great spot it would be for Silent Hill photos. I'm glad we could do a shoot down there this year! We were almost booted after a few minutes by a security guard, but Pan, Candice and Alex's amazing Robin, Batgirl and Nightwing costumes respectively made the guard smile and he allowed us to keep shooting for a little while longer. (^^)

Anyway, an apparatus in one corner of the garage was surrounded by police tape for whatever reason so Stillvisions took a really cool shot of me peering out from one side of the police line. It was a lot of fun to participate in this shoot and it was a blast re-wearing Lisa even though wearing my proper heels for Lisa was a painful experience. XD This time I decided to wear red lipstick since she appears to wear lipstick in the game cut scenes. I'm not sure if I like it since I think the lipstick is a little severe on me.

This is a preview shot from the Polaris shoot so it will be a few more months before I have the full set to post. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the photos turned out! (^^)

Lipgloss may even suit it better, a more subtle way to add red. (I think that is a nice detail to add, especially since you have the nails the right color and everything!) Honestly the red is a very interesting contrast, and though it may be extreme in this picture, I like the contrast myself :3!!! This picture also has the light focused a lot on your face, so I would imagine that it brings it out even more than it does in other pictures from the shoot. I dunno, there is just something about you that rocks Lisa no matter what! Heck you could wear purple lipstick and you'd still be the image that comes to mind when I think of Lisa. Regardless, I love the super red lips in this shot.

Looking good, but honestly, I'm not so crazy about the lipstick either. I don't even think she wears deep red lipstick, but something more natural looking. More like a soft apricot, something that looks like naturally red lips. Am I making sense?
Anyway, you still look fantastic, my favorite Lisa :3

Thanks for the input. At the time it looked good, but I see in photos it became intensely red. I used the same lipstick with Snow White and I thought it might work well for Lisa given the few references that I had and what I could remember of her character. I knew she wore reddish lipstick, but I agree, it is a very muted red if it can be considered red at all. With Snow White over time I found the lipstick colour became toned down a bit, but I had to keep reapplying it for Lisa so it looks like a very deep shade. I know better for next time. At least I was colour coordinated with my high heels. XD
