AC:Brotherhood insignia wip

AC:Brotherhood insignia wip - Assassin's Creed - Ezio Auditore da Firenze
I originally planned to take a really long time on this, but I'm in a major rush to finish, so I'll make a better one later. I still think it turned out pretty damn decent for some sculpey, brads, paint, and a jewel I found in a shoebox.

Get cracking woman! Nah, you're making really good progress on your stuff. I think we're all going to look just amazing at Fanime. Sexiest AC gathering ever.

Haha, thanks dude. I hope your sculpt is going well too.

Wow. This is absolutely amazing. What kind of tools did you use? Did you do it in layers or all at once? And how the hell did you manage to sculpt all those tiny intricate swirls?!

OMG!!! ...That's all I can say. I think I'm still too much in shock to think of anything more coherent. Just amazing. O.O

Good work! Only a 1.5 days is seriously impressive.

This is amazing for a rush job! How long did it take you?

junkeemunky replied on 12-03-2010 at 10:13 AM:

About a day and a half, including all the waiting between baking and painting.

uh, DAMN. That's all I have to say. DAMN. No words can describe how impressed I am! You did this with sculpy?? Was it super sculpy (serious question)? XD I am AMAZED!!!!!!!!

junkeemunky replied on 12-01-2010 at 10:06 PM:

Aw, I'm nearly blushing from such a nice comment! I usually use super sculpey, but I had a whole ton of normal white sculpey and used that. For some reason, the white sculpey that comes in the box is easier to paint than the sculpey that come in small plastic packaging. No idea why.

Thank you, I'm feeling really motivated after receiving such great feedback on a WIP shot!

Also, I remember seeing your pistol sculpt for Ezio! Great stuff.

This is fantastic! What kind of paint did you use?

junkeemunky replied on 12-01-2010 at 10:15 PM:

Thanks! I just used silver spray paint, then I weathered it by rubbing areas with black india ink.
