I originally made this costume for a huge 300 gathering at Dragon Con '07. I've never had any reason to wear it since then though, and forgot about it until one day when I was cleaning out my costume closet and found it. Since I had previously never gotten a nice photoshoot done with it, I figured before I retired it it was time to get pictures.

I made the dress out of linen that I dyed red, to match my fellow Spartan's capes. I've also got it fastened at the shoulder strap with a brooch just like the ones the warriors in 300 use to fasten their cloaks. I originally had a woven reed basket full of apples as a prop for the gathering, but alas, it has gone missing, likely stolen by hungry Persian invaders.
