On the left is the Arduino Duemilanove microcontroller which I programmed to control the pitch of the speakers, and all of the LED functions.
On the right is a Lithium Backpack which provided the voltage for the Arduino, and also powered the eye LEDs. The Arc Reactor and Repulsors were powered externally by 4AA batteries each.
