I commented on the group photo before, but its worth mentioning again and again. A great photographer and a great cosplayer make for a deadly combination. Congratulations once again!
YES!!! Perfect Ed pose!!! The location, err ... the cabinet wall-ish thing to the left ... yea ... reminds me of the Bebop where she sits are her computer. Really made me think it came straight from the anime or an artbook! Made My Day!!!
anime_wench replied on 03-30-2011 at 07:29 PM: These shots were actually all taken in an old "Western Town" that someone was building on his private property. We were nerding out over how perfect the location was for the shoot.. ^_^
Matt^2 replied on 03-30-2011 at 09:45 PM: Oh is this Pioneer Town in the Yucca Valley area?
anime_wench replied on 03-31-2011 at 12:01 AM: No, it's literally sitting in this guys backyard in the middle of nowhere in Hanford, CA. He called it "Horseshoe County". The city made him stop building it because he didn't have a permit. It's so obscure that locals here in Hanford where everybody knows everybody doesn't even know it's there. ^_^
Matt^2 replied on 03-31-2011 at 01:42 PM: Thats so funny! Like he wanted to film his own western movie or the like! Glad you got to use it. Love every pic in this shoot. Keep up the great work!
anime_wench replied on 03-31-2011 at 06:48 PM: Yeah, and it was soooo huge and detailed. There was a jail, a church, a saloon, a laundry, post office, a firestation, general store, whorehouse, etc. etc. etc. And it was fleshed out inside AND out (wanted posters on the wall of the jail, laundry hung out to dry, etc.).. and the guy totally KNEW Cowboy Bebop too! His wife came out wearing a Bebop t-shirt! ^_^
Amazing^^
