With lots and LOTS of patience. :P
First a coat of red, let it dry, later a coat of gold for the Sand symbol, dry, later the line with black, dry, then trace the symbol with a fine-tipped permanent black marker, dry and at last a coat of transparent nail hardener.
There! It might also help to buy cheap neutral artificial nails, make some necessary cuts, and do all the procedure from above,, hehehe,, yah, I had to use artificial nails in some cuz not all my nails were that long at that time. ^^U
