After finishing the basic structure, time to decorate. To make yours better than mine, I suggest starting from the outside in. As you can see, on the left we messed up going outwards from the pole. Using craft foam, cover the gap between the two points, then begin to create the petals on the dowel. (Long and tedious process and they never come out right!) Don't forget the lines of the trident, and whatever else.
