I went to a thrift store last night, and I found this sand-colored jacket which would be perfect for cosplaying Yagami Light from Death Note. And it was less than $3.00 !! So of course I had to buy it. Here I am taking it for a test drive in my hastily-assembled cosplay.

I already had warm grey pants, and a white shirt, so now I need to get or make a red tie (the one I'm wearing in these pictures is a little dark for my taste, and it also has tiny black spots all over it) and I have to tailor the pants, because in the manga Light's slacks are cut a lot slimmer.

Also, I need to let my hair grow, and figure out a way to temporarily lighten it to a brown color. I don't actually want to lighten it permanently, because there are other cosplays I have planned which require black hair. So if anyone has advice or recommendations on making my hair brown, please let me know!
