Queen Rutela improved for PAX Prime 2011

Queen Rutela improved for PAX Prime 2011 - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Queen Rutela
Fixed a few things up in time for PAX this year. I finally purchased an airbrush and gave the top of her head its proper color (coral magenta with a golden glimmer) and color-blended some of my fabric sections together. I also fixed the comfort issues with her head and re-made her eyes, but unfortunately they still fogged up very badly and I was only able to tolerate it for about four hours. Have to find some way to fix that. Still more work to do but she's closer to being finished! Sorry about the flash but I only found a few good pics of her from PAX that year.

I have an ok pic I took of you at Sakuracon while you were in the building! It was a very gorgeous costume!

I would love to see more photos of the airbrushed version. The colors are gorgeous (and I'm a sucker for gradients).

YOU fangirled over me?! I fangirled over YOU! Haha. I saw you on DA and I was like -throws a little fit in the chair and stares with a dropped jaw-

I WANT TO SEE YOU AT A CON. I want to cosplay a Zora sooo bad.....ughh.... I want to be the sage in Wind Waker....

Ahaha! I want to see YOU at a con! XD Take awesome photos. And I would love to wander around with a really good zora cosplayer. So you should make a stellar Zora and come to SakuraCon and that will solve both problems.

incredible! for the eyes, I'm thinking they're glued on or attached from the back? maybe just put a little bit of thickness in the top corners where they adhere and not have the top of the eye fully attached along the whole length...that way it would be unnoticeable but still provide an immediate space for more air circulation in the problem areas?

Thank you! When I put the new eyes in I only glued them via one tiny dot at the top and bottom, and otherwise they have a gap almost all the way around. It wasn't enough to help unless I kept fanning directly into my eyes or up under the mask. Hot in there.

Absolutely stunning. I would love to see this in person. Amazing job bringing a character from the world of Zelda to life.
