A fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.
I don't think I could love the programmers behind SH:SM than I already do.
(Shattered Memories spoilers ensue...)
My appreciation has come full circle after having finished Hamlet. One of the people on the staff (maybe more) is definitely well read on his or her Shakespeare!
The title comes from act V of the play when Hamlet is reminiscing on the lives that were lived by the people whose skulls were tossed about trivially by the grave maker. (Infinite Jest is the name of the Jolly Roger memento that players find in Lisa's apartment.) Not only does "Infinite Jest" sound awesome (good old Shakespeare), but it also serves a really great purpose in the SH:SM universe. In this scene Hamlet is thinking lovingly about the person (whose skull he had in his hand) that he once knew. This of course relates very well to how Cheryl reminisces about Harry (to an obsessive extreme of course). I think it is very interesting that in this one paragraph of Hamlet's speech he goes from thinking kindly of his old acquaintance to being able to leave him behind. It really struck me as a microcosm of the events in Shattered Memories, making this memento's name even more powerful than I had initially thought.
Since I have now finished Hamlet, my next stop is to read the Tempest in preparation for seeing it in two weeks, and then the Twelfth Night since SH:SM's principal loves it so much. I guess I am just on a Shakespeare roll as of late!
This is definitely the last red couch pic, I've added many that are very similar. I felt that these worked best for the Shakespeare titles though, since they relate to Lisa's death. I'm sad that my inaccurate jean pockets are visible here; I looked for bell-bottom jeans with slit pockets for months, only to realize (months after I wore the cosplay) that her pants have normal pockets with no stitching.

I love your involvement in fandom. You really make the series all it can be with your interpretations and costumes. I don't know much about Silent Hill, but I'm glad it exists; I'm impressed by your interpretations. I miss you!

;___; I had a serious baww moment...I miss you too. I was reminiscing on our huminator, charlie and herbert moments last night (since I couldn't sleep lol). Oh and shoeske too!
Anyway, I must remedy this, especially since you are still back home!
