**I couldn't edit the existing photo I have posted with the new version for some reason, so I just deleted the old one. XD**
So for a bit of a trade, my twin Hopie my Officer Jenny hat for me, and I styled her wig for Faye Valentine! We went with a fairly cheap option to start with, the China Girl wig (I think it's from the Sepia line? Cosworx has it either way) in the only color purple they had in stock at the time, which ended up being a veeery light pink (---odd.). It was also a little thinner than either of us were expecting, but we just worked with what we had! Hopie did the sharpie dying and I took care of the rest!
I removed the bangs from the front of the wig, then added a fabric shape for the hairline and reapplied the hair as I would with any of my altered hairline wigs. Some of those wefts were added to the neck of the wig in the back, since I trimmed and fluffed the back of the bob and exposed some of the gaps in the netting. The hairband Faye wears is perfect to hide where the added hair from the hairline meets the rest of the wig, so I didn't have to make a completely smooth transition. Time saver!!
There are some bits I want to touch up for the next time she wears it, but I'm pretty happy and I'm glad to say she was, too! She makes a rockin' Faye-Faye!
