It's done! :D

The body is made of MDF with slits cut for the back handle and front blade (both 1/2" MDF, blade lined with a bike chain and handle shaped by hand) and reinforced on the inside with L-brackets. The body was then lined with black felt.

Side panels are 1/4" and 1/2" MDF (silver and red, respectively), drilled on with flathead screws and hidden with the gold craft foam detailing.

Side handle is wood, drilled into a PVC pipe (top) and into the side of the back panels. The round things are wooden toy wheels that looked rather fancy.

Total length ~3.5 feet

Total hours ~100 (pretty much used only a Dremel and a horribly inaccurate circular saw.)
