This is the the skirt and blouse of a ladies Edwardian Tailored suit. There are no sleeves to keep the wearer cool. The jacket would always be worn. The vest is a silver silk dupioni with silver filigree and pearl buttons. The pearl trim at the hem was a special request....I don't think it's particularly effective. I would have used black on black trim of some sort.
