Sealed Sōgyo no Kotowari tsuba progress. - Bleach - Jūshirō Ukitake
Been working on this sword these last days. The base is just a cheap red oak bokuto/bokken that I sanded down some errors on and repainted. The original tsuba I didn't use because of inaccurate design, so I made a custom one la Bleach myself out of plywood and craft foam for details and spraypainted it gold. You may wonder why the beginning of the blade is painted white, that's because when I put the tsuba in place it was very tight and some of the paint on the blade chipped off. So I repainted my white primer on it and maybe tomorrow, if weather permits, I can spray it silver and finish whatever else there's left to do.. tsukamaki being one of them.
