Same as the Aries wig, the foamcore was prepared separately, then attached to the unstyled wig (with adhesive caulk). All of the wig fiber (except for the bangs and top layers) was wrapped around the foamcore to blend it in with the wig.
The foamcore is made of craft foam segments this time, stacked together to form a curved tube. It's hollow on the inside, and covered with extension fiber on both sides, in and out (a least as far as the eye can see).
I still think it looks like a UFO, not a hairdo. But I like how it turned out, anyway :)
1 mid-length wig, extensions x2 (60 - silvery white); wig dye (dark blue); foamcore (craft foam)
