So I was looking at my gallery earlier and decided to cull some horrendous Yoko and Eileen shots from like 2 years ago. I also decided that I need to remake Eileen and actually make it really accurate since I love her character so much and flubbed up a lot of things. Overall I just really dislike some major aspects of the costume and I may get the chance to wear this with some lovely ladies who made a perfect replica of the SH:3 Robbie from Lakeside!
The new version will sport the same wig, but I want to shorten it and color it a bit since her hair looks highlighted. The dress will be completely remade to feature a longer bodice, longer skirt, more accurate halter design and a fabric that actually photographs purple will be used on it. (Ordered swatches today, yay!) The shoes also need to be completely remade as well, these are not the right shape at all. Ugh, the things I thought passed for accuracy when I was a little younger :( At least I am fairly sure that I'll keep the purse at this point. I already made the bangles from scratch for last Otakon, so I'll just use them unless I can figure out a way to make them less bulky. The necklace has also been remade as of last year, but it is disproportionate because the mesh bit had to be bigger than the lace trim, and the lace trim is too big, so the necklace wound up being too wide as well.
