I'd worn this scar for 2 days, so it was looking a little sad at this point, but i like that you can see it. I used liquid latex and tissues for the shape and red stage makeup for the colour. Suprised by how good such a simple method worked. Yellow contacts too :)
My first ever hand-made costume! I'm quite happy with it, though i spent two days sweating very heavily in the australian summer in it. It was comfortable, aside from being hot, and didn't break, which is always a plus. I do need to make my boots and fix up my belt, and redo my shoulder blade plates, since they're a little wide (the problems of drawing on pieces of paper sticky taped to your back in a mirror for sizing, i suppose). I got a lot of compliments on it though, so thats always nice. These shots were taken at Gamer's Life Convention at Bond Univeristy, the Gold Coast. It was the first time the convention had been held, and for cosplayers it was a little small and lacking, but a great location for photos.
