Thanks for the reply! I have traced and finished the crest and finished all but the flames. I thought it was embroidered but was no sure!

Thank you for the kind comment. ^^ Yes, I made the cape from scratch. The Gurren-dan logo was made using white pleather layered on top of black pleather. I traced and cut out the design and then tacked it down to the back using my machine on a long stitch length. To keep the corners down, I used a little fabric/tacky glue to keep them tame. As for the flames, those were appliquéd on using a orange cotton in four separate panels that matched the panels of the cape base. Since I didn't chop up the bottom of the cape until the appliqué was done, that made things a lot easier. I hope that helps, let me know if you have any
