Pic taken just before Game 3 (04/15/12) of the Western Conference Quarter Finals against the Vancouver Canucks. Intense game is intense. Now if only we can keep mistakes down to a minimum and generate more natural scoring chances, less turnovers ... I'll step off my Kings soapbox now ...
I had a great time at the game in costume. Fans and Staples Center workers were pretty taken aback by the look, but all reactions were positive. I added another crinoline layer to the skirt but still fit "ok" into the tiny seats. All in all a very successful outing!
This is one of the details that I am so very proud of, small but awesome! I call this my "Banner Bow" as I've appliquéd the Kings franchise retired numbers to the bow tails. Even the style of the numbers reflect the era each player was a King.
99 Wayne Gretzky
20 Luc Robitaille
18 Dave Taylor
16 Marcel Dionne
30 Rogie Vachon
The Kings crowns and color theme is a subtle way to infuse the theme into the look, but when I'm at the game I want to really pay respect to the team that I've loved since before I care to remember. At the game any fan that was a little on the fence about my passion for the team looking the way I did was immediately won over once they saw the bow. XD I will always love this team. GO KINGS!!!

Yo! Thanks! There are just subtle difference tween the eras, but Luc's 20 is from the purple/silver Staples Center years so its got more points than the traditional block numbers.
LOVE MY KINGS!!~~~!! XD
