I finally have a part of my Harry cosplay that's complete enough to photograph and upload here, and it happens to be his infamous glasses!

The glasses were created with a pair of neckband headphones whose earphones were cut off, two pieces of acrylic for the frames, and two pieces of see-through mirrored acrylic for the lenses. The frames and lenses were curved using a heat gun and a glass measuring cup as a form. Steel resin epoxy was used to attach the frames to the neckband and the lenses to the frames. The lenses were painted with Testors Candy Red transparent enamel.

Visibility is not as good as I had hoped it to be so I'm going to have to decide whether or not I should wear this costume throughout the entire con or just during the Gundam photoshoots and panel for the sake of safety. Wouldn't want the captain of the royal guard trip and fall down the stairs at the convention center and bring great shame to the Moonrace...!

The wig is very close to completion as just a little more cutting is needed along with some styling so that there aren't so many fly-aways. Every measure must be taken for Harry to be ultra-fabulous!
