Sheryl Nome Wings of Goodbye
Overall, making this costume was tedious work since I'm not a huge fan when it comes to corset boning and breaking needles on the sewing machine as you go. But in this case, I was very satisfied with the outcome of this costume. I used over 5 yards of fabric for this whole costume. Taffeta, Organza, Lace, and Silk. The stockings were bought online and cut once I received them, the skirt was made by me and covered with black flowery lace (I plan on re-doing the skirt for next year though). The corset had boning but instead of making it into a lace up corset, I sewed on a golden zipper in front. The jacket was a pain in the ass but somehow managed to make it work xD The belt on the other hand, I couldn't find a good base for the heart shaped buckle ): instead, I put golden ribbon on it. Also, the hat was made by me...my grandmother gave me a white sailor hat that I managed to break and form it into the shape I desired and put black fabric and sewed red ribbon onto.
