...Well anyway, because this will be about 70% covered up by armor and the Plume of Doom in the end, here's an unobstructed back view, made basically in the same way my Soul Edge was.

Oh yeah...and since my inventory currently lacks vertebra, I had to make due with...knee caps! Not a bad spinal substitute, surprisingly.
(The coolest part is that because each segment is hinged, the tail bone actually wags back and forth in an alarmingly cute fashion. ^_^;)
