Kerrigan Progress 4

Kerrigan Progress 4 - Starcraft II - Kerrigan
I used silicon putty to mold screw heads to add to my armor for detail. I cast the screws in hot glue, a great alternative to resin for quick and thirfty casting.

Fantastic, I'll have to look in to that stuff. Thanks a lot!!!

That's genius. So you just shoot the hot glue right into your silicon muddy mold and pop it out when it dries? Do you have to re-make the mold now and then, or does the putty harden? Great work on this armor by the way, and I really appreciate the step by steps you've put in the descriptions.

Yeah, I just squirt the glue into the mold and when it cools, and hardens I pop it out. The mold is silicon putty, it comes in 2 parts and it hardens after a few minutes. So you can reuse the mold a ton, you may have to remake it eventually, but you can get a bunch of pieces before the mold is ruined.
