What have I done? Now I want to cosplay the Princess of the Crystal even though I am lamentably broad-shouldered and unfeminine ;___;
Started out by making a plain cotton cap, then adding the brim (spandex tube stuffed with batting), then adding the understructure of the face (reticulated foam), then tape pattern, then velour skin. The eyes are jumbo rhinestones with the edges sanded down and still need eyelashes before their final installation. The beak is felt over plastic. The lace is cheap crappy raschel lace and I was totally going to get Venetian lace for this but OH MY GOSH IT'S SPARKLY AND IRIDESCENT FABULOUS MAX.
Still trying to figure out what to do for the twintails. I got organza so they'd be sparkly, but organza doesn't drape worth a crap so I'm still messing with it.

Where did you buy those rhinestones ? I hardly find ones of this size

They came in an assortment bag from a Michaels craft store, I tossed the packaging but if I see them again I'll PM you the brand so you can search for them online.
