Akroma, Angel of Wrath wig (MtG)
The client requested this to look as natural as possible. Working with henlon fiber really isn't fun... it was too slippery and hard to tease! I usually buy my base wigs from Arda, but I went with 2 straight 44in. long dark purple wigs from CosplayDNA/CosplayAnimeWigs (don't do it) since they liked the color best. I combined the two wigs together since they were *extremely* thin (thank goodness I planned ahead), added a faux side part, covered 9001 bald spots with wefts, cut the wig into layers, then heat styled waves into the wig.

Wow I never thought of using a tripod for longer wigs! Cool idea!
And the wig looks great!

That tripod gets more attention from foam heads than it does my cameras. LOL It really does come in handy for wigs. I recommend investing in one!
