I made this before Otakon but forgot it at home. Whoops. But I will remember it this time when I go to NYCC.
Made with a cardboard base and cardboard skeleton. The bird heads were sculpted with model magic and then I covered the rest of the cardboard in model magic as well. Did a layer of paper mache because the clay cracked. The wires are fishing line. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out
