Hi when you say corset do you mean the dress bodice which is all in one with the dress, a croset is what you wear underneath dress'es like from the old times century's ago, the corset was an undergarment not to be seen that went over a chemise which is a type of underwear or nighty in modern terms.
There was only one photo of Giselle I could find that gave it away how the sleeves were attatched and that was a part of a White strap showing over her arm, at first in the film I noticed how they pulled the sleeevs taps up very high on her shoulders, then after all the punishment the dress went through and raining it weighed the sleevs down until they were really coming off her shoulders.
My first sleeves looked like Tunnels with a slightly round shape, but then someone in my local fabric shop, told me to put some very stiff net between the layers and mae the pattern bigger, and at last they now look big and round.
You are so lucky to get the original Disney, I mis-speeled Bridal section above and put ridal, (laugh)
Well done on your effort this is not an easy dress.

English is not my native language and here we call everything corsets when it has a boning and lacing closure or hooks closure, lol.
I'm going to have to steel your Tiara though, I had toruble finding one at the time, so I bought one from a ridal section in a fabric store in North wales. Did you make the Tiara as well?

the tiara, except the wig and the victorian boots is the only thing I bought on eBay.
Very nice, I love your sleeves, my first Giselle version won a cosplay comp, but I was never happy with the sleeves as they looked more like swiming arm bands then rounds puffs, but last year I re-did them and this was me entering the fancy dress at my local carnival last year, with new improved sleeves, someone told me to put stiff net in between the payers ot help keep t poofed out and it worked wonders.
Love yours your centre decoration loks very much like how I did it, but it was 3 years ago now.

thanks, yes indeed the sleeves where a little catch. Such as the corset in my opinion. This was actually also my 2nd version: the sleeves were attached to the correct made corset and the right fabric was used.
This looks great! You can definitely see all of the hard work you put into it!
