So much beauty. So much, I always look at your cosplays for inspiration, like when I feel like going the easy way out. I'm like 'NO, look at that, look at it! You must work hard to make your cosplays like this!'. Thanks for keeping me a good cosplayer. ^^

No problem, it has been a learning curve since making the Padme Lake dress in 2007, there is no professional help for making these complexe gowns, unless I could afford to go London on a university dress making course. I was luck to get a book from the library by a lady called Jean Hunisette I think, last year. She worked on many costume drama's and the book has acurate patterns and lots of written info and how to do things wrong and right. Though at the end of the day it's not enough to read a book you really have to have some understanding from starting from the begining and learning basics.
I used to put thin interfacing into my other bodices, but then someone kindly on cosplay told me about corset coutil which is in the Belle one and boning which helps with holding the shape of the bodice in place, before they were just sagging and shapeless.
Thanks so much for your comment, I don't mind working hard and showing people as I get frustrated and upset when I get stuck and people who have managed to succed won't help you.
So thank you again from
Tracy & Chris (mum)
