Shade's Pauldrons

Shade's Pauldrons - Legend of Zelda - Hero's Shade
Everything is pretty much done on these, they're ready for the next step to smooth the surface and strengthen inside, including the attachments so they stay on my shoulders. Yellow parts are foam again, because I already bumped and dropped them a few times, so the foam is a nice cushion for the poor top piece. They are top heavy, because I want to avoid damaging the front and beak, and the weight will sit near my shoulder better.

I'm... not entirely happy with how these turned out. I'm stressing a bit about the deadline, and lack of time to work on it. It always makes me sad, to have to compromise just to get things done. :(

Maybe I should go find my ocarina, and play a little tune. 7 years would be really helpful, heck I'd even gladly slow down time. :/

"Maybe I should go find my ocarina, and play a little tune." I think an Ocarina shot with this costume done would be really cool as Hero's Shade is supposed to be the ghost of Link from the Ocarina of Time.
I love that you are making this variation and I look forward to seeing it done.

Thank you!

Now you got me thinking.. about making an old broken Ocarina, as if it aged along with him...
