Alright, so here is the start of Hero Shade's Boots. They are... a very interesting design. I'm making specifically boot covers this time around, only because I don't have funds to buy new shoes to destroy for cosplay purposes. This poses one major change in pattern, the bottom part shown here, is slightly larger to accommodate what I'll wear underneath. (The boots in this picture, aren't actually going to be used.. I'm going to use Zero's from Code Geass instead, since they're more comfortable.)
Most people already realize, that cardboard isn't the greatest for extended wear & tear at the feet, and joints. So I used stronger cardboard, so it'll last a bit longer. Worst case scenario, I'll remake these each few wears to spruce them up. The pattern is very straight forward, and simple, which leads to repairs being very easy too. :) Oh! There's also no difficulty walking, if I glide my feet rather than raise on the balls of my toes, the cardboard doesn't even touch the ground. It hovers about 1/4 to half a centimeter at most while walking, which is negligible unless you are taking a photo at floor level.
