San Diego Comic-Con International 2005

This is my Comic-Con 2005 costume next to my Comic-Con 2004 costume! It's me in my Spongeborg Grievouspants costume, standing next to Jaina Solo, who is wearing my Puss In Boots costume, which I made for last year's Comic-Con. I don't know what it is about Comic-Con that inspires me to take a computer-generated character and make his head out of urethane foam, the spongey stuff you find inside your couch cushions. (You won't find it inside MY couch cushions, though, since I cut them open and turned them into General Grievous!)

By the way, in case there's any uncertainty, my General Grievous costume was NOT the one in the Comic-Con Masquerade. That was made by someone else, it looked different, moved differently, and was probably not made in a week, out of sponge. Personally, I thought he did a great job, and give props to all of my Grievous cosplayer brothers and sisters!
