This is how the shapes were beaded on the corset. I machine embroidered basic star shapes by sandwiching a sheer gold print over satin, and using scrap brocade underneath for thickness to create cut-out patches. Then I cut out the stars, placed them where I wanted, and beaded them directly on. Why I beaded the entire back, I don't know. I wanted to practice on the back before I did the front - which was kinda dumb, cuz no one ever sees the back under all the capes. o_O 25 hours down the drain, YEEHAW!
