Dance With Me | Photo by Hime no Toki

My ballgown Rydia costume, worn for the MetroCon FF Ball. I doubt I'll ever wear it again, unless for another formal con dance or something like that. It's not Amano or anything, just...Rydia. She's my fave FF girl but the more I look at myself the more I realize that I definately would pull her off much more nicely in her Child form, which is why I'm currently slaving over my Amano Child Rydia costume. All the beaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaads on the bodice for the stars is fun but time consuming! So far I have over 2000 seed beads applied to it and it's only for the center part of the bodice...long way to go, I'm afraid. But other than seed bead details there won't be much beading on the costume, only what bead strands you can make out in the art, so I'm really looking forward to an accurate Amano costume that's still lovely and detailed.

You my dear are one of the most talented and brilliant cosplayers simply because you do the extra 10 steps to make each costume you wear as close to the orignal as possible.

But to be honest... your beauty inside and out didn't lessen the final picture we see of you,

It enhabces it 100 fold!

I don't know what you don't like about yourself as the adult version of Rydia. You're certainly one of the best Rydias I've seen in this costume or the other one.

Still can't wait to see the new costume though.
