There is a way that you can sew in the zipper so that the fabric overlaps the zipper and hides it. Then you can use that zipper. (wasn't sure if you knew that or not, so I'm just throwing it out there) <3

*gasp* OMG I have to spazz over this! I recognized it immediately from the thumbnail. I have never seen ANYONE do this costume before. I wanted to a long time ago because Hilda is the shit, but I am far too tiny and non-threatening. The jacket looks great so far, and I'm SO happy to finally see someone pull this off!
