Anime LA 2006

This is my second new cosplay for ALA06, Ishida Uryuu, in his first Quincy outfit which appeared in only one episode of the anime. (The manga design is somewhat different.) I decided to make it because the front panels are similar to Severus Snape, and it was simpler than his second Quincy outfit, the one with the capelet. I like that outfit too, but time was counting down and I needed to be able to finish by ALA. Especially since the inside of the jacket is fully lined and interfaced.

My friends peer pressured me into actually getting some sleep instead of making pants from scratch the night before the con. So these are pants I bought that morning. Another reason I chose this outfit is because it's the one he wears the cool cross pendant bracelet with, and I wanted to be able to wear mine. Unfortunately, I was an idiot and left mine at home as I was rushing to the con.
