Original Chii costume worn to WonderCon 2006.

The story behind this costume is this: I had an idea for an original Chii costume that I wanted to do eventually, and cosworx was having a sale on their Godiva wigs so I was like, "I'll get the wig now since it's so cheap and hang on to it until I decide when I want to make the Chii costume" with the idea that it would be like 6 months before I started on it. But then I remembered that I had 5 yards of this really gorgeous brocade fabric, and at the last minute we decided to go to WonderCon... What sealed the deal was that I had to make something--anything I wanted--for an art class, so I was like, "to heck with it! I'm making Chii!" XD I made this costume in five days, and HOLY CRAP its really ghetto. Definitely needs a lot of work before I wear it again, though now that I got Chii out of my system, I'm not really sure if I ever will wear this costume again.

Dia, if you're reading this: I'm in love with your Queen of Hearts costume and those shoes of yours that I had to get a pair of my own. Sorry for shamelessly ripping you off! XD j/k
