New picture of my Detective Spica costume. My brother, who had applied to college for photography, asked me to help him with his portfolio because he didn’t have enough portraits. He looked through my costumes and requested this one, which worked out well for me since it was one of my older outfits and I didn’t have great pictures of it.

I’ve only worn this costume to one con so far since the character is rather obscure but I’m planning to pull it out for New York Comic Con this weekend. Although it was only my second cosplay, I still consider the coat to be one of my best tailoring jobs. ^_^ I might consider remaking my Star Ring again sometime though; it’s too big and falling off in the picture due to my lack of experience with Sculpey. XD
