So.
There was absolutely no one in the hallway to the con center. The masq was still on at that point. Totally empty. And we were randomly taking photos there since it was the only place with marginal lighting at all. And I was randomly swinging around Soul Edge because it was...well...an empty hallway.
Which I would -never- do otherwise (for fear of hurting -him- more so than any passer-by.) And I was aware of all the evenly spaced pillars and staying clear of them.
Of course, I have less vision in the helm than ever (which is why it actually looks decent nowadays.)
And then there was a *smash* which unexpectedly threw me sideways.
"I hit a child! Or a hobbit or something!"

No, I actually had just whacked into the auto-door-opener...which for -some- reason was stuck on a post in the middle of the floor.
Remarkably, Soul Edge escaped basically unscathed.


Anyway! A lesson to all you idiots like me with giant props. ^_^;;
