I had this plan to cosplay as Kenshin, and made this, based on his reverse blade, but then i flaked out and got lazy and didn't get any further.

Red Oak, I lucked out at Home Depot and found a piece that had a wonferful grain, so i tried to take advantage of it when i carved the blade. Sheath is red oak as well :)

Apologies for the shoddy presentation, as i no longer have the blade and cannot reshoot it :(
