Showing off my blades. I don't recall if I've explained my thief blades, so I'll do it now.

They were made by my uncle, a carpenter, using a to-scale pattern I drafted for him. He carved them both in one day. I painted them myself, using red and gold spraypaint with acrylic silver craft paint for the "wear" on the edges. They're slightly inaccurate because I suppose the pattern didn't properly explain that the gold part is cut out around the gold bolts or whatever you might call them, but whatever. No one's complained yet. lol Did I mention they're really heavy? Made from ash (the wood baseball bats are made from) and either oak or maple, I forget which, but mostly ash. Anyway, after holding them in the air for more than 20 seconds for photos, I get extremely tired. lol Cosplaying Rikku is gonna make me BUFF, man! Especially if I wear it for a 3rd time (4th if you include Mobicon, where I didn't have the blades) at AWA. XD
