In progress Wishing Gown

In progress Wishing Gown - The Phantom of the Opera - Christine Daae
Just a hint of how much insane pleating went on in making the skirt and trimmings of the gown. All up I had 23m (25 yards) of fabric pleated and on that was 46m (50 yards)of ribbon sewn down.
Oh and the skirt was a further 4 widths of fabric box pleated and stitched down to hold its shape.

Thank you everyone I have some fuzzy photos already, but I never got good photos taken. It had turned cold so getting photos organised outside was a little hard

Summer is on its way here so once I add the buttons and add extra embroidery to the bodice I'll get some more photos I'm colouring my hair for another costume in just on a month, so then will be a perfect time.
