Here's my Gaara costume, which I wore to one of my schools for a Halloween lesson.

I originally made it for a 100-yen store cosplay contest: the rules were you could only use things in your closet or which could be obtained from the 100 yen store (the Japanese equivalent of the dollar store). They also advised, "If you can be cosplayf***ed? YOU ARE GOLDEN!"
