I'm cutting out the concentric circles that are on the sashes/ strips coming from the waist. I thought it might be kind of neat if I used colours that remind me of a peacock feather's eyes since it's the Bird of Paradise and all... I had to put a mock one together to make sure the finished size looked right, and thought it looked really interesting in all its pinned glory....
