A Link to the Past - The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past - Link

This is my new favorite costume! I absolutely love how it came out. This also was my first real experience with props, and I must say after several hours of hard work and lots of Krylon fumes in the apartment, it came out to my expectations, maybe even beyond what I thought I could do. I really enjoy making props now, and want to try my hand at more things of this nature. I will be making Wind Waker Link next, already started on a few things and I'm so excited!

Anyhoo, I decided to make LttP version Link because this was my childhood favorite and will always love this Zelda game above all others. The storyline was very rich, as well, and I think this game needs to be hailed as one of the best ever, all systems. Plus, you don't see many old school Links out there, and hey, they need a LOT more love!

Awww thanks for the comments, guys! *^^* The red jewels are made of two things. The one on the bottom was pretty tricky, it's four pieces of styrene joined into one. The round one is model magic...yeah. Krylon spray does wonders! I used styrene and craft foam for the rest of it, and foam board as the center core. There's a slight curve to it but you really can't tell at this angle.
