I met cosplayer Vani on this Gathering, by merely walking up to her without introducing myself. Instead, I said "I have an idea. " After describing the aerial shot I wanted, she agreed. Now, we know each other. :-)

Cosplayer Vani sprinkles pixie dust at Craig Regional Park. Hey. The pixie dust was organic, so she wasn't littering. ;-P I wanted a horizontal composition, so I had her pose with both hands out. At first it looked like she put her hands up reacting to being held-up with a gun, but after she made one hand hire than the other and made her hands look so graceful, the pose took on a much different feeling. The sun back-lighting her wings washed out some subtle colors, but gave it a nice shimmery effect. SoCal Gathering 2010 Fullerton, California
