hmmm, since your hair is really thick from your natural curls, a lot of layering and straightening should be involved. I would say a hairstyle that is more bubbly than jagged or spiky. Something like this would be very perfect.

As for the hair color. I think your natural hair color is very unique in itself. dyeing it away would be sad ;o; Big Black chunks placed near your bangs would look cool too.
