It's a lovely dress, but I think it might be a little too "historical-ish" to make me think EGA right away-- the first thing I thought of looking at the line of the dress was an 18th century mantua in the skirt, and a sort of pre-Raphaelite look in the bodice. Accessories could go a long way to change the look to a more modern/pseudo-Victorian EGA sensibility-- a hat or cape/capelet perhaps. Also, I've worn trained EGA gowns to cons before, and they WILL get stepped on no matter how small the train is-- for practicality, you might want to reduce the size of the train or eliminate it entirely.
